Vision: We believe that our program, in collaboration with other campus initiatives (members of B.O.A.), will help Masters become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community for students of color. We aspire to build onto “A Better Masters” plan so that our members feel safe, valued, and empowered to excel and become their best selves.
Our community includes individuals beyond graduation: Alumni. In conjunction with the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement, SCEEM is committed in nurturing a relationship between current students and their older counterparts. Serving as the role of big sibling, alums share special input with our members.

Maximizing the tools for success is embedded in our mission statement and values as an affinity. Our leadership team is focused in finding scholarships, internship, and programs that positively benefit our members. We collaborate with the College Counseling office, parents, and alums in hosting events that expose our students to new opportunities.

Our efforts extend beyond the Upper School. Equity work belongs in every crevice of our community, including the Middle School. In the 2023-2024 school year, the SCEEM Leadership Team actively works to foster a profound relationship with members of the Middle School. We are committed to ensuring that our community of color embraces all students, regardless of age.
